Adventure Club is an action-packed, Bible-based weekly program that creatively introduces children to God through the guidance of caring adults. Boys and girls Kindergarten through 5th Grade learn and interact with each other in activities geared to place all children on an equal participation level. The purpose is to introduce, encourage the commitment of, and develop the relationship of children to the historical, biblical Jesus.
It’s exciting to watch Adventurers develop spiritually! Children will discover God’s love through a well-balanced program of songs, Bible lessons, scripture memorization, games, crafts, and other activities. Adventure Club helps them to make a person commitment to Jesus Christ and then grow toward spiritual maturity.
Adventure Club at Hope Covenant Church is each Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. September through April. Call the church office at 815-455-6340 for additional information. |

Announcement updated on - Wednesday, April 29, 2009HEAVEN BOUND WE ARE! 28 clubbers accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior last club year. God is fertalizing seeds that are planted into the hearts of clubbers each week. Praise and glory be to God.

Posted - Wednesday, February 25, 2009Service Project 2009 - collecting items for the Crystal Lake Food Pantry. The Food Pantry has seen an increase in the number of families using their services in recent months. It is difficult for them to keep up with the need. Each Adventure Club family was asked to donate at least two non-perishable items. The Crystal Lake Food Pantry was pleased to receive the abundance of items. Thank you for your generosity and support.

Register on-line or use the printable form to mail in or drop off. See below for details. You will receive a confirmation call once your registration is received.
Club meets each Wednesday, September 16, 2009 through April 2010 at Hope Covenant Church, 451 Ackman Road, Crystal Lake IL 60014 (Ackman and Randall Roads). The adventure begins at 6:30 PM.

Adventure Club began at Hope Covenant Church on Wednesday, September 17, 1997.
Yearly club registrations are around 100 students in grades K-5th.
The registration fee has never increased.
There is on average 30 weeks in a club year. (That's 67 cents per student a week!)
Every club year there is a service project. Over the years we've collected money for the hungry, canned goods for the local food pantry, shoes for the children of Santo Domingo, mittens/gloves/hats for the ones less fortunate than us, and small toys for the kids in Iraq.
It takes a staff of 20 who volunteer their time to share the love of Jesus with children like yours.
Adventure Club's favorite bible verse is Matthew 19:14 --- Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." It's what Adventure Club is all about...sharing the Gospel and leading each child in a relationship with Christ.
