MORE than a club - It's an ADVENTURE!
Adventure Club is a mid-week Bible program for kids K-5th grade.
(Club is on hiatus at this time. Adventure Club will resume on September 17, 2008!)

Adventure Club is an action-packed, Bible-based weekly program that creatively introduces children to God through the guidance of caring adults. Boys and girls Kindergarten through 5th Grade learn and interact with each other in activities geared to place all children on an equal participation level. The purpose is to introduce, encourage the commitment of, and develop the relationship of children to the historical, biblical Jesus.
It’s exciting to watch Adventurers develop spiritually! Children will discover God’s love through a well-balanced program of songs, Bible lessons, scripture memorization, games, crafts, and other activities. Adventure Club helps them to make a person commitment to Jesus Christ and then grow toward spiritual maturity.
Adventure Club at Hope Covenant Church is each Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. September through April. Call the church office at 815-455-6340 for additional information. |

Announcement updated on - Tuesday, May 06, 2008REJOICE! To date we have had 19 children come to know Christ in a very personal way. It is our prayer that these young lives will be blessed in their continued walk with Jesus.

Announcement posted on - Tuesday, May 06, 2008Adult Bible Study available to all on Wednesdays! Come and check it out. Study begins at 7:30 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. Location is at Hope in the conference room. There's room for you! Bible study will continue to meet throughout the summer months.

Adventure Club is 10!
Did you know that…
Adventure Club began at Hope Covenant Church on Wednesday, September 17, 1997.
Mr. Gary Smith has been leading the Songfest at Adventure Club since the very first club meeting! Who needs Steven Curtis Chapman when we are blessed to have Mr. Smith?
Mrs. Cathy Mellinger is going to co-direct with Mrs. Lynn Winn this club year 2007-2008.
Adventure Club's favorite bible verse is Matthew 19:14 --- Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." It's what Adventure Club is all about...sharing the Gospel and leading each child in a relationship with Christ.
