Who Are We?

What Is a Covenant Church? • Biblical, but not doctrinal. • Thankful for our rich tradition, but looking forward. • Congregational, but not independent. • Evangelical, but not exclusive. For more information about the ECCA (Evangelical Covenant Church of America) click here!
What Do We Affirm? Consistent with its affirmation of classical Christianity and its own historical experience, the Evangelical Covenant Church affirms as central to its life and thought a number of evangelical emphases. Foremost among these are the following: • The centrality of the Word of God. • The necessity of the new birth. • The church as a fellowship of believers. • A conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit. • The reality of freedom in Christ. • Committed to the whole mission of the Church
